2. something that foreshadows a future event : something that gives an anticipatory sign of what is to come.

Naziya, aged 13, is currently studying journalism through the joint project of The Oxford School for the Future of Journalism and LEARN Afghan.
She is a strong advocate for education. While her aspirations lie in technology – she hopes to become a software engineer – she has many hobbies such as painting, reading, writing and going on walks.
Naziya speaks Dari, Pashto and English.
